Ch-ch-changes

A long time ago I learned to listen to my body. My body hasn’t been telling me a good story the last few weeks and with the progressive pain in my upper spine and consistent pain in my hip I have earned myself another PET-CT. In video game speak – that would be a sarcastic “w00t!” Breast cancer isn’t supposed to grow this fast. I could be certifiably crazy. Part of me has been convincing myself that...

Dogs on the Bed

Sometimes when you have breast cancer you get to break a few rules. When I don’t feel well I like to have the dogs sleep with me, which drives Mike crazy, he doesn’t like dogs on the bed. Especially Dante, the pomeranian, who likes to go sleep near Mike’s pillow when he isn’t there, no matter how many times I shoo him off. There was one other winner from Utah who also went with me. They are lucky I...

Welcome to Mets Town USA

I asked Mike how to title this one, and to make it somewhat silly if he could. His answer was that it is hard for Mike to make funny when he is sad. I figured I would get my results yesterday, but just in case I called and left a message. I am annoying sometimes, but being slightly cute helps you handle annoying – maybe. I am not sure at what point you officially just embrace the use of the word “concerning” in...

RV Camping in Manti-La Sal and Scanxiety

It is fall in Utah. The days are getting shorter and the nights are getting colder. Something about those cool nights makes it pretty darn impossible to drag my lazy carcass out of bed in the morning. When I am wrapped up in the cocoon of blankets and pillows. I just want to stay there rather than get up and go face the real world. I planned a camping trip, because now that we bought an RV, we need to use the RV (or else it is a...
