Glad all went well with your surgery. It’s funny what a fuzzy memory that is for me already. (Must be the drugs!) Youch on the foot IV! They kind of knocked me out before they put an IV in my foot for my masectomy, thank goodness. The port saved me all of that for my reconstruction. I’m a total wimp when it comes to getting multiple pokes with those big ugly IV needles. Take good care of yourself. I hope you heal up quickly. Maybe you’ll even feel well enough to hit some of the family reunion in two weeks. It would be fun to see you!

Now that we officially know chemo and healing don’t go well together I certainly don’t intend to ever try the two together again. It is amazing how much better my body is already this soon after finishing!

Your doc was the one ‘out of it’ not you! I’m so glad that you’re doing well, I’ve been thinking lots about you and checking the blog for updates .

Everything will heal as it should, now that chemo won’t be a part of it anymore so it should go well
