Frankly, I think YOU are the brave one for having the reconstructive surgery. I'm too much of a chicken to even imagine more surgery.  Anyhow, I hope things are okay and you are recovering steadily. Thanks for that note on clubbing fingers, because my thumb nails did just that (a little bit) so maybe I'll bring it to the doc's attention in the future. I haven't had the guts to look at them. Part of his reasoning was if something went wrong, we would have proof of what I looked like before.  At this point, I'm not reconstructing, and can't imagine myself changing my mind about it. Maybe we should take a shot of what I look like topless now. Maybe on my 1 year surgical anniversary next month... DH took pictures of me topless the night before my bilateral. Especially when it comes to the world of your breasts. I think I would be pretty sad if I saw the picture they took before my surgery, I also was pretty bruised from my biopsy.
